Our Services
We (Ears On Wheels):

- Offer our combined 85+ years of experience in hearing healthcare
- Act as liaison between patient and their audiologist if established
- Train, inform and counsel the patient, family and caregiving staff
- Screen and test hearing
- Assess broken hearing aids to either fix or facilitate the repair
- Provide battery testers to caregivers and applicable supplies to the facility
- Provide recommendations and referrals
Retirement Community Site Visit Protocol:

- Initiate contact with community manager
- Communicate services offered
- Obtain authorization for a particular action plan
- Meet with caregiving staff
- Educate and train caregiving staff on applicable topics
- Meet with applicable community members
- *Ideally, caregivers will identify people having difficulty communicating (Index card identification system)
